Lucknow, [Date] – Uttar Pradesh has taken a significant leap in food processing entrepreneurship with 17,000 micro food industry units set up under the Pradhan Mantri Micro Food Processing Enterprises Upgradation Scheme (PMFME), announced Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya.
Speaking at a fruit preservation training program in Lucknow, Maurya emphasized the state government’s commitment to transforming trainees into employers by fostering self-reliance in the food processing sector.
