Building on a Strong Foundation
This new $4 billion pledge is not a standalone effort. It builds upon Nokia’s recent, massive investment in the U.S. tech sector, including:
- A $2.3 billion investment through its acquisition of Infinera Corporation, which bolstered its semiconductor and AI capabilities.
- Infinera’s own previous announcement of a $456 million investment in two U.S. manufacturing facilities, supported by CHIPS Act incentives.

Where is the Money Going?
The $4 billion will be strategically allocated to cement the U.S. as a hub for networking innovation:
