Fabex Steel Structures Commissions New ₹120 Crore Plant, Doubling Manufacturing Capacity.

HYDERABAD – In a significant expansion of its production capabilities Fabex Steel Structures has officially commissioned its second manufacturing unit at Chityal, near Hyderabad. The new facility built with an investment of ₹120 crore on a 40-acre site, is set to bolster the company’s output of pre-engineered buildings for India’s growing industrial and logistics infrastructure.

The plant will add 50,000 metric tonnes (MT) to Fabex’s annual production capacity effectively doubling its total capacity to 1 lakh MT when combined with its existing facility in Vijayawada.

Fueling Industrial and Logistics Growth

The new unit will specialize in manufacturing pre-engineered building (PEB) solutions, which are central to the rapid construction of factories, warehouses, and large-scale logistics parks. This expansion comes at a time when demand for such industrial infrastructure is surging across India.

The strategic location near Hyderabad, a major industrial hub, will allow Fabex to efficiently serve projects across the region and strengthen its position in both domestic and export markets.

A Phased Strategy for Future Growth

This commissioning is just the first phase of a larger growth plan. The company has announced its intention to invest a further ₹100 crore over the next 2-3 years.

Venu Chava, Co-founder and Managing Director of Fabex Steel Structures, stated that this follow-on investment will focus on “automation, throughput enhancement, and product diversification.” This indicates a move towards more advanced manufacturing processes and a broader product portfolio.

Driven by this expansion, the company is targeting revenues of ₹1,000 crore over the next three years.
