BEML Limited (a Miniratna Category-I PSU under the Ministry of Defence) announced a landmark investment of ₹1,500 crore (with some estimates reaching ₹1,800 crore across the full project lifecycle) to establish a greenfield rail manufacturing hub.

Named BRAHMA (BEML Rail Hub for Advanced Manufacturing), the facility is set to become one of India’s most significant centers for high-speed and urban transit rolling stock.
