Bharat Forge to Invest ₹345 Crore in European Subsidiary.

Pune, India: Bharat Forge Limited has announced plans to invest €39 million (approximately ₹345 crore) into its wholly owned German subsidiary, Bharat Forge Global Holding GmbH (BFGH). The investment, approved by the company’s Investment Committee on December 24, 2024, aims to enhance the subsidiary’s financial health by addressing outstanding borrowings and ensuring greater stability for its European operations.


Strengthening Global Presence

Established in 2003, BFGH serves as Bharat Forge’s holding entity for investments across Germany, Sweden, and France. The subsidiary achieved a turnover of €5.11 million (around ₹45 crore) for the fiscal year ending December 2023. This funding aligns with Bharat Forge’s objectives outlined in its Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) document, which focuses on reinforcing its global operations and market competitiveness.
