Visakhapatnam the bustling port city of Andhra Pradesh, has just received a powerful boost to its industrial infrastructure. On November 11, 2025, TVS Infrastructure Trust officially inaugurated the expanded phase of its flagship Tarkeshwar Industrial & Logistics Park, marking a significant milestone for the state’s economic landscape.
The virtual inauguration was led by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who connected from an event at the APIIC Industrial Park in Peda Gantyada. This new facility is a testament to the state’s pro-business environment and its ambitious vision.
A Hub for Modern Industry
Strategically sprawled across 17 acres in Gurrampalem, the park represents a substantial investment of approximately ₹250 crore. But its impact goes beyond capital. The project is poised to be a major employment generator, creating over 1,000 new jobs for the local community, aligning with the state’s vision of fostering entrepreneurship in every family.
So, what makes this park special?
- Prime Connectivity: Located along the Anakapalle Anandapuram Expressway (NH-16), it offers seamless road access. More importantly, its direct link to the Visakhapatnam Port ensures smooth multimodal logistics, making it a dream location for companies that trade domestically and internationally.
- Grade A Infrastructure: Developed by TVS Industrial and Logistics Parks (TVS ILP)—a pioneer in this space—the facility is designed to meet the high standards of modern businesses. It caters to the growing demand for top-tier warehousing and industrial space in the region.
A Partnership for Progress
The project’s success highlights a successful collaboration between the private sector and the government. The land was allocated by the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Ltd. (APIIC), which played a crucial role in land acquisition and fast-tracking approvals, demonstrating the state’s commitment to easing business operations.
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Ramnath Subramaniam, Joint Managing Director of TVS ILP, emphasized Vizag’s strategic role. He stated, “Visakhapatnam, with its multi-modal connectivity, port infrastructure, and proximity to major manufacturing clusters, plays a pivotal role in driving this growth.” He added that the facility is designed to support key sectors like automotive, FMCG, manufacturing, and e-commerce.

The inauguration was graced by a host of dignitaries, underscoring the project’s importance to the state. The event was attended by:
