NEW DELHI / HYDERABAD – In a significant development for Telangana’s industrial landscape Pham Sanh Chau the CEO of VinGroup Asia met with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy in New Delhi expressing the Vietnamese conglomerate’s strong interest in establishing major projects in the state.
During the meeting, the VinGroup CEO conveyed the company’s keen desire to set up Electric Vehicle (EV) manufacturing units and battery storage facilities in Telangana signaling a potential mega-investment in the state’s burgeoning EV ecosystem.
A Diversified Investment Portfolio
The discussions highlighted a multi-sectoral investment approach from VinGroup. Beyond EVs and batteries, the company also showed a clear interest in exploring opportunities in solar and wind energy projects. This aligns perfectly with the Telangana government’s own strategic push towards sustainable and clean energy expansion.
A statement from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) also noted that the CEO took a “special interest” in the proposed Bharath Future City, appreciating its visionary potential and conveying VinGroup’s readiness to invest in its development.
Formal Invitation to Global Summit
Recognizing the significance of this potential partnership, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy extended a formal invitation to CEO Pham Sanh Chau and VinGroup Chairman Pham Nhat Vuong to participate in the upcoming Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025, scheduled for December 8 and 9.
The summit is expected to be a key platform for finalizing such high-profile investment commitments and showcasing Telangana’s pro-business policies to global leaders.
