British industrial component manufacturer Stephenson Gobin (SG) has officially inaugurated a new production facility in Attibele, Karnataka marking a significant strategic expansion to serve its growing customer base in India and across the globe. The new plant will specialize in manufacturing critical components like electromagnetic brakes, clutches and fire safety devices for industrial doors.

The 20,000-square-foot facility is equipped with state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment dedicated assembly lines, a clean room for precise inspection and a laser marking unit. The setup closely mirrors the layout and high-quality processes of the company’s main site in the UK, ensuring consistent product quality worldwide.

Boosting Capacity for Automation and Safety Sectors

This investment is a direct response to the rising demand in the automation and industrial safety sectors. By establishing a local manufacturing base, Stephenson Gobin aims to achieve several key objectives:

  • Increased Production Capacity: The new plant significantly scales up the company’s ability to meet growing orders.
