On Monday, March 16, 2026, the Rajdhani Group officially inaugurated its advanced CNC end-fitting manufacturing unit and the Rajdhani Excellence Lab at its flagship facility in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

The event, attended by industry titans including Arun Misra (CEO of Hindustan Zinc) and Arup Chandra (Head of Aftermarket at Komatsu), marks Rajdhani’s transition into a fully backward-integrated powerhouse for hydraulic systems.

The Rajdhani Excellence Lab: Precision Testing

The new facility houses a specialized innovation and validation center designed to ensure that hydraulic components can withstand the extreme pressures of mining and heavy infrastructure.

  • Endurance & Pressure: Features abuse test machines and burst pressure testing systems to verify hose integrity under peak loads.
  • Environmental Resistance: A salt spray test bench evaluates how plated components resist corrosion in harsh, high-moisture, or saline environments.
  • Dimensional Accuracy: Utilizes vision measuring machines and go/no-go gauges for thread precision, ensuring leak-free connections.
  • Material Integrity: Includes hardness testing for raw materials and flame/abrasion resistance testing for hose covers.

Strategic Evolution: Backward Integration

The core of this expansion is the new CNC unit, which allows Rajdhani to manufacture its own end-fittings in-house.

  1. System Compatibility: By producing both the hoses and the couplings, Rajdhani ensures that the two components function as a single, perfectly matched assembly.
  2. Product Portfolio: The unit supports the production of high-pressure 2-inch R15 series spiral hoses, choke and kill hoses, and integrated metal tube assemblies.
  3. Mining Focus: The innovation center is specifically geared toward developing “integrated hydraulic systems” for global OEMs like Komatsu, Epiroc, and Normet.

Growth Trajectory: From 1,000 to 20,000+ Sq. Ft.

Founded in 2015 by Sourav Sikhwal with just a single crimping machine, the Rajdhani Group has seen exponential growth:

  • Current Scale: Operates a 20,000-square-foot main facility in Udaipur with additional plants in Raniganj, Ramagundam, and Chandrapur.
  • Global Footprint: Exports to 15+ countries supported by a network of over 800 dealers.
  • Future Expansion: The company has signed MoUs for six additional manufacturing plants across India to meet the post-EXCON 2025 surge in demand.

“Our new CNC unit and Excellence Lab represent our commitment to indigenous high-precision manufacturing. We are no longer just assemblers; we are innovators creating the backbone of heavy machinery.” — Sourav Sikhwal, Founder, Rajdhani Group.
