New Holland to Invest ₹5,000 Crore in New Tractor Plant Near Noida International Airport.

NOIDA, Uttar Pradesh – In a major boost to Uttar Pradesh’s industrial landscape, global tractor manufacturer New Holland is set to establish a new manufacturing unit near the upcoming Noida International Airport. The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has issued a Letter of Intent (LoI) to allot 100 acres of land to the company for this project, which involves a planned investment of approximately ₹5,000 crore.

The new facility will focus on manufacturing tractor engines and related equipment, strengthening the region’s position as an automotive and engineering hub.

A Strategic Expansion in a High-Growth Market

The proposed plant will be located in Sector 8D of the YEIDA area, strategically positioned to leverage the logistics advantage offered by the new international airport. This investment underscores New Holland’s commitment to expanding its footprint in India’s rapidly growing farm equipment market.

RK Singh, CEO of YEIDA, confirmed the development, stating that the project is expected to generate “thousands of direct and indirect employment opportunities for local youth.”

Building on an Established Presence

This investment is not New Holland’s first in the region. The company already operates a manufacturing plant in Greater Noida. The new, larger facility represents a significant scaling up of its Indian operations, enabling it to increase production capacity and localize the manufacturing of core components like engines.

The proposal has now been forwarded to Invest UP, the state’s nodal investment agency, for final approval. Once cleared, the formal land allotment process will commence.
