Joint Solar Ghaziabad 300 MW solar panel manufacturing plant Uttar Pradesh : Joint Solar Powers Up Uttar Pradesh’s Solar Surge with New Ghaziabad Manufacturing Plant.

Joint Solar Ghaziabad 300 MW solar panel manufacturing plant Uttar Pradesh : Joint Solar is setting up a new 300 MW solar panel manufacturing plant in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Part of UP’s surge to 10 GW capacity it will fuel North India’s expansion with 3000+ retail points.

GHAZIABAD, UTTAR PRADESH – In a move that underscores the remarkable transformation of Uttar Pradesh into a solar manufacturing hub homegrown company Joint Solar is establishing a new solar panel production facility in Modinagar, Ghaziabad. The plant backed by a 300 MW production capacity and over 25 years of expertise is a key part of the state’s journey from a solar novice to a potential industry leader.

This development is a stark indicator of UP’s rapid industrial growth. Just three years ago the entire state had a total solar manufacturing capacity of only 300 MW—the same as this single new facility. Today with major players like Avaada, Alpex, Jont, Shweta Solar and now Joint Solar setting up shop, the state’s total capacity is projected to approach a staggering 10 GW by next year.

A Phased Strategy for North Indian Dominance

The Joint Solar Ghaziabad 300 MW solar panel manufacturing plant Uttar Pradesh is designed to be the cornerstone of an ambitious regional expansion plan. The company has outlined a phase-wise strategy beginning with a strong focus on North India.

The Ghaziabad facility will act as the backbone for this expansion enabling Joint Solar to establish a vast network of over 200 distributors and more than 3,000 retail touchpoints by 2027. The initial focus will be on ensuring greater accessibility to its solar panels in key markets, including:

  • Delhi NCR
  • Uttar Pradesh
  • Uttarakhand
  • Punjab
  • Haryana
  • Madhya Pradesh

Building Partnerships for Pan-India Reach

Beyond its own retail network Joint Solar is actively forging OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) collaborations and dealer partnerships. This strategy is crucial for ensuring that its “world-class” solar panels and solutions are available across every corner of the country, not just in its Northern stronghold.

Vinod Sharma, Director of Joint Solar, highlighted the company’s evolution, stating, “Over the years, Joint Solar has grown from a regional manufacturer to a global player with a vision to make clean energy accessible and affordable.”

A Future Roadmap: Beyond Solar Panels

The company’s vision extends well beyond manufacturing solar modules. Its future roadmap includes a strategic diversification into adjacent and critical renewable energy technologies, including:

  • Battery Storage Solutions: Essential for managing solar power after sunset.
  • Hybrid Systems: Integrating multiple sources of power for greater reliability.
  • Strategic Export Partnerships: Moving from a domestic player to a global renewable energy leader.

The establishment of the Joint Solar Ghaziabad 300 MW solar panel manufacturing plant Uttar Pradesh is more than just a business expansion; it is a microcosm of India’s broader green energy ambitions. It represents the growth of domestic manufacturing, the creation of local jobs, the strengthening of supply chains, and the empowerment of consumers and businesses with accessible, affordable clean energy options, starting right in the heart of North India.
