PUNE, India – In a strong endorsement of India’s automotive market Inteva Products LLC a leading global automotive systems supplier has announced a significant expansion of its Indian operations with a second manufacturing facility in Pune. This marks the company’s first new plant in the region in 17 years.

The new facility, involving an investment of Rs. 50 crores is expected to create more than 400 new jobs and will focus on producing next-generation components tailored for the evolving needs of the Indian mobility sector.

Deepening Roots in a Key Growth Market

The expansion underscores Inteva’s long-term commitment to India and its confidence in the country’s growth potential. Gerard Roose, President and CEO of Inteva Products, stated that the move reflects the “shared journey towards innovative and sustainable mobility.”

This new plant will enable Inteva to enhance collaboration with regional customers and achieve deeper integration with local supply chains, aligning with the Indian government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative.

Introducing Advanced Product Lines for Indian OEMs

Alongside the manufacturing expansion, Inteva is introducing a suite of advanced products for Indian automakers. The new portfolio includes:
