Interarch Expands Manufacturing Capacity with New Facilities in Uttarakhand and Andhra Pradesh.

Interarch invests ₹53 Cr to commission Phase 2 of its Andhra PEB plant & a new Box Column Line in Uttarakhand. The expansion adds 40,000 MT capacity, targeting renewables, data centers & EV sectors.

NEW DELHI – Interarch Building Solutions Limited a pioneer in pre-engineered and multi-storey steel structures has significantly amplified its manufacturing capabilities with a dual expansion drive. The company has commissioned the second phase of its Andhra Pradesh facility for Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEBs) and inaugurated a state-of-the-art Box Column Line at its Kichha plant in Uttarakhand, backed by a combined investment of ₹53 crore.

This strategic expansion is poised to create over 200 direct and indirect jobs and is tailored to meet the soaring demand from India’s rapidly growing industrial and infrastructure sectors, including renewables, data centers and electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure.

Andhra Pradesh: A New Fully Integrated PEB Hub

The highlight of the Interarch Building Solutions PEB plant expansion Andhra Pradesh Uttarakhand is the Phase 2 launch at its facility in Athivaram Village, Nellore district.

  • Investment: ₹32 Crore
  • New Capacity: 25,000 MT per annum
  • Strategic Advantage: The expansion transforms the site into Interarch’s fourth fully integrated PEB plant in India. Its location near key industrial corridors and ports offers a logistical edge for serving projects across South and West India.

Arvind Nanda, Managing Director of Interarch, stated, “It is now our fourth fully integrated PEB plant in India, strengthening our ability to meet rising demands in sectors such as Renewables, Automobiles, Electronics, EV infrastructure and FMCG.”

The facility is strategically positioned to cater to high-growth verticals like semiconductor manufacturing, e-commerce warehousing, data centers, and infrastructure projects.

Uttarakhand: Enhancing Capabilities for Heavy Steel Structures

At its Kichha facility in Uttarakhand, Interarch has taken a significant leap in manufacturing complex steel structures with a new Box Column Line.

  • Investment: ₹21 Crore
  • New Capacity: Adds 15,000 MT to the plant’s annual output.
  • Advanced Technology: The new line features advanced automation and precision tooling capable of manufacturing large-format box sections from 50 mm thick plates, with dimensions up to 1500 x 1500 mm.

These box sections are critical for their superior torsional strength and corrosion resistance, making them ideal for high-rise buildings, data centers and other complex, heavy-steel structures. Gautam Suri, Whole Time Director noted that this upgrade allows the company to deliver “faster, flexible, and cost-effective solutions while maintaining the highest standards of quality.”

Aligning with National Initiatives and Future Growth

This Interarch Building Solutions PEB plant expansion Andhra Pradesh Uttarakhand strongly supports the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative by enhancing domestic manufacturing capabilities for critical infrastructure development.

Founded in 1983, Interarch has over four decades of experience providing turnkey steel construction solutions. Its integrated services span design, engineering, manufacturing, and project management. The company’s product portfolio includes world-class roofing and cladding systems like Hi-Rib and Klippon, alongside innovative load-bearing wall framing systems that are lightweight, earthquake-resistant, and customizable.

By adding 40,000 MT of new capacity, Interarch is not just expanding its footprint; it is fortifying India’s industrial backbone, enabling the construction of the factories, warehouses, data hubs, and urban infrastructure that will power the nation’s economic future.
