Exicom Brings Advanced Liquid-Cooled Power Electronics Manufacturing to India.

Exicom Tele-Systems has started manufacturing advanced liquid-cooled AC and DC power modules at its Hyderabad Smart Manufacturing Facility—marking a major step in India’s EV charging technology and export ambitions.

The company says it is the first Indian company to manufacture this class of liquid-cooled power electronics for global markets.

🔋 Why Liquid Cooling Matters

Thermal stress is a major challenge in high-power EV charging systems. Exicom’s liquid-cooled modules are designed to:

🔹 Operate at temperatures around 10°C lower than conventional air-cooled systems
🔹 Improve thermal management and power density
🔹 Reduce heat-related stress on critical power electronics
🔹 Enhance reliability and durability
🔹 Enable compact, fully sealed designs for high-power charging

🌍 Manufacturing for Global Markets

Building on Tritium’s liquid-cooled charging technology, Exicom will manufacture advanced power modules in India for international markets.

Initial production will support North America and Europe, including Tritium’s fast-charging portfolio. The technology will subsequently be integrated into Exicom’s Harmony DC chargers, creating further opportunities for exports from India.

🏭 Hyderabad Becomes a Key Manufacturing Hub

Exicom’s Hyderabad Smart Manufacturing Facility will serve as the production hub, leveraging:

✅ Automation
✅ Digital traceability
✅ Advanced testing capabilities
✅ Specialised power-electronics manufacturing

The development also strengthens Exicom’s integration with Tritium, the DC fast-charging company acquired by Exicom in 2024.

With operations spanning India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, the US and Europe, Exicom says it has sold 200,000+ EV chargers globally.

💬 Anant Nahata, CEO & Managing Director, Exicom:
“Globally, liquid cooling has become the architecture of choice for high-power charging. We are bringing this technology to India.”

🇮🇳 From India to the world — advanced EV charging technology is increasingly becoming a Made-in-India manufacturing opportunity.
