Emvee Energy’s Rs 15,000 Crore Investment to Boost Solar Manufacturing in Bengaluru.

Emvee Energy a prominent solar photovoltaic panel manufacturer based in Bengaluru has unveiled plans to invest Rs 15,000 crore in establishing a large-scale manufacturing facility. This ambitious project aims to generate 10,000 jobs and will be executed in phases. The initial phase involves an investment of Rs 5,000 crore to set up a facility with a power generation capacity of 5 gigawatts (GW).

Strategic Location in Bengaluru’s IT Investment Region

Karnataka’s Industries Minister, M.B. Patil, confirmed that Emvee Energy has requested 120 acres of land within Bengaluru’s IT Investment Region (ITIR) for this project. The ITIR, situated beyond Kempegowda International Airport, is a pivotal area designated for industrial and technological advancement. Minister Patil assured that the state government would facilitate this land allocation after thorough evaluation.

Alignment with Invest Karnataka 2025 Initiatives

This significant investment aligns with the proposals formalized through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the recently concluded Global Investors Meet – Invest Karnataka 2025. The state’s proactive approach in attracting substantial investments underscores its commitment to fostering economic growth and sustainable development.
