A major boost to Chhattisgarh’s electronics manufacturing ecosystem! 🇮🇳
The Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has approved the establishment of an Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC) 2.0 in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh, with the potential to attract more than ₹3,000 crore in investments and create 9,000+ direct and indirect employment opportunities.

• 🏗️ Development Agency: Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation (CSIDC)
The cluster will provide factory-ready industrial infrastructure, including reliable power and water supply, warehouses, logistics support and other modern facilities designed to enable companies to commence manufacturing with minimal lead time.
The proposed EMC is expected to attract investments from high-growth sectors such as semiconductors, electric vehicles (EVs), electronics and smart electronics, further strengthening Chhattisgarh’s position as an emerging manufacturing destination.
With the Centre funding nearly 50% of the estimated project cost, the initiative is expected to create a strong foundation for new investments, industrial development and employment generation in the state.
This is another significant step towards Atmanirbhar Bharat, strengthening India’s domestic electronics manufacturing capabilities and supply-chain ecosystem. 🇮🇳
