CASE Construction Equipment Positions India as a Global Hub for Manufacturing and Exports.

CASE Construction Equipment a leading subsidiary of the CNH Industrial Group—a global powerhouse listed on the New York Stock Exchange—is redefining India’s role in its global operations. Moving beyond its traditional identity as a manufacturing base India is now being positioned as a critical hub for exporting construction machinery and supplying essential components to CASE’s worldwide network.

India’s Growing Importance in CASE’s Global Strategy

Speaking at the Bharat Construction Equipment Expo 2025, Emre Karazli, Vice-President of the Construction Segment for CNH APAC, highlighted India’s expanding significance in the company’s supply chain. “India’s importance is not only for the domestic Indian market,” Karazli stated. “With all the manufacturing capability we have here, India is becoming much more important as a supply base.”

CASE’s India-made machinery—including backhoe loaders, skid-steer loaders, excavators, and compactors—is already being exported to over 100 countries. This underscores India’s growing role as a global manufacturing and export hub for the company.

A Dual Strategy for Success

CASE’s approach in India is two-fold:

  1. End-to-End Component Production: Some components are entirely manufactured in India and shipped to CNH facilities worldwide.
  2. Value-Added Sub-Assembly Processes: Other components are sourced from local suppliers, refined through advanced fabrication processes, and then exported globally.

This strategy not only enhances cost efficiencies but also ensures that Indian operations meet CNH’s stringent global quality standards.

The Pithampur Plant: A Cornerstone of Growth

A key driver of CASE’s success in India is its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh. This plant is the company’s second-largest production facility globally, trailing only its North American operations. The Pithampur facility has been instrumental in scaling up production and meeting the growing demand for CASE’s machinery both domestically and internationally.

India’s Role in CASE’s Global Supply Chain

India’s strategic location, skilled workforce, and robust manufacturing ecosystem make it an ideal hub for CASE’s global operations. By leveraging India’s capabilities, CASE is not only catering to the domestic market but also strengthening its global supply chain.

A Win-Win for India and CASE

CASE’s focus on India as a global hub is a testament to the country’s potential as a manufacturing powerhouse. For India, this translates into increased job opportunities, technology transfer, and a stronger presence in the global construction equipment market. For CASE, it means enhanced production capabilities, cost efficiencies, and a competitive edge in the international market.

What’s Next?

As CASE continues to expand its footprint in India, the company is expected to invest further in advanced manufacturing technologies and skill development programs. This will not only bolster its global operations but also contribute to India’s vision of becoming a global manufacturing leader.

With its innovative strategies and commitment to quality, CASE Construction Equipment is paving the way for India to shine on the global stage as a hub for manufacturing and exports.
