ACTEGA is expanding its presence in Asia with a new sealant production facility at its existing Foshan site in Guangdong, China. Construction is scheduled for completion by the end of September 2026.
The new facility will manufacture premium and standard sealant grades for food and beverage can applications, bringing production, sales and technical support closer to customers across the Asian metal packaging market.

The Foshan facility builds on technology transferred from ACTEGA’s Global Sealants Hub, ACTEGA ArtĂstica in Spain, including proven formulations, advanced production technologies and standardised manufacturing processes.
The initiative follows the company’s development of sealant production capabilities in Brazil and the United States, supporting its broader ambition to establish a global sealants production platform.
The company is also developing regional technical capabilities through training programmes in China and Thailand, strengthening application support and process optimisation for customers.
