Welspun Corp Ltd has announced a significant partnership with Saudi Aramco to establish a new manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia. In a press release on Wednesday, the company shared details of its plan to set up a Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welded (LSAW) line pipe manufacturing facility in the Dammam 3rd Industrial City. This facility will have an annual production capacity of 350,000 metric tons and is expected to begin operations by mid-2026.
Welspun and Saudi Aramco share a partnership spanning nearly two decades. Over the years, they have collaborated on various oil and gas pipeline projects in the Kingdom, reinforcing their strong business ties.
The new facility will play a key role in meeting the growing demand for pipeline-related projects. It will support the transportation of oil, gas, hydrogen, and Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) developments, catering to the evolving needs of the energy sector.
