Maxvolt Energy Industries Limited is expanding its battery manufacturing footprint with a ₹700 crore battery plant in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh — its largest expansion project to date.

The facility will mark Maxvolt Energy’s entry into four-wheeler EV battery packs, complementing its existing two- and three-wheeler battery business.
Importantly, the project focuses on battery pack assembly and integration, including Battery Management Systems (BMS), chargers and inverters, rather than manufacturing battery cells.
According to Co-Founder & COO Sachin Gupta, the company plans to commission the first 5 GWh phase within 24–30 months, allowing suppliers and production protocols to be validated before scaling up the second phase.
🚗🔋 The project adds another significant investment to India’s rapidly expanding EV and battery manufacturing ecosystem, with growth now extending across cells, battery materials, pack assembly, electronics and energy-storage solutions.
