TAFE Motors Launches DEUTZ-Licensed Engine Manufacturing Facility in Alwar, Rajasthan.

TAFE Motors and Tractors Limited has commenced operations at its new engine manufacturing assembly line in Alwar, Rajasthan, developed in collaboration with DEUTZ AG, Germany. The facility marks the first manufacturing joint venture between TAFE and the global engine manufacturer.

The plant was inaugurated by Rajasthan’s Minister for Industry & Commerce, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore.

Key Highlights:

🔹 Annual production capacity of 35,000 fully assembled engines
🔹 Capacity to manufacture 50,000 engine sub-assembly components annually
🔹 Production of DEUTZ-licensed 2.2L and 2.9L internal combustion engines
🔹 Engines will serve the agriculture, industrial equipment, construction, and logistics sectors
🔹 Products will cater to both Indian and global export markets

The new facility represents a significant step in strengthening India’s advanced engine manufacturing ecosystem through global technology collaboration.

Looking ahead, TAFE and the Amalgamations Group plan to increase their annual engine manufacturing capacity from 4,00,000 to 5,50,000 engines by 2030, reinforcing their long-term growth strategy.

This partnership with DEUTZ AG is expected to accelerate technology transfer, enhance manufacturing excellence, and position India as a stronger hub for globally compliant engine production.
