Bengaluru-based Supertech EV Limited officially commenced operations at its new manufacturing facility in Harapanahalli, Karnataka. This move marks a major capacity expansion for the company, aimed at dominating the last-mile mobility sector in Southern and Western India.

The plant serves as a critical assembly hub, integrating local components with global technologies to serve markets in Karnataka, Hyderabad, and Goa.


Production Capacity & Portfolio

The Harapanahalli facility is designed to scale Supertech’s presence in both the personal and commercial EV segments.

  • Annual Production Capacity:
    • 12,000 Electric Two-Wheelers.
    • 1,200 Electric Three-Wheelers (E-Rickshaws & Loaders).
  • Key Models Manufactured:
    • Zapster Series: High-speed flagship scooters featuring BLDC hub motors and a range of up to 140 km per charge.
    • Tiger Series: Entry-level, low-speed scooters (25 km/h) targeted at students and gig workers.
    • Pilot & Load King: The company’s heavy-duty e-rickshaw and electric loader range for cargo and passenger transport.

By establishing a dedicated facility in Karnataka, the company effectively reduces logistics costs and delivery times for its fastest-growing markets in South India.
