CHENNAI, TAMIL NADU – In a significant move to bolster India’s electronics and semiconductor ecosystem ASM Technologies Limited a leader in design-led manufacturing has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Guidance the nodal agency of the Government of Tamil Nadu. The agreement paves the way for a ₹250 crore investment to expand the company’s capabilities in Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) and precision engineering.
As part of the agreement, ASM Technologies will acquire 5 acres of land from the state government to establish a state-of-the-art design and manufacturing facility. This new unit will be strategically located within Tamil Nadu’s burgeoning technology manufacturing corridor, strengthening the state’s position as an electronics hub and enhancing ASM’s long-term strategic footprint.
