Boosting India’s Rail Modernization with ‘Make in India’ Initiative

In a major stride toward advancing India’s railway modernization Frauscher Sensor Technology India has commenced construction of its new global manufacturing hub in Mysore, Karnataka. The facility, officially launched on August 7, 2025 is set to enhance domestic production, drive innovation and strengthen India’s role in the global railway supply chain.

Scheduled for completion by October 2026, the 1.55 lakh sq. ft. facility will complement Frauscher’s existing operations in Austria, reinforcing its commitment to local manufacturing, R&D, and sustainable growth.
