The Government of India has reopened the application window for the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for white goods, inviting companies to apply between September 15 – October 14, 2025.
🔹 The scheme, launched in April 2021, offers 4–6% incentives on incremental sales of AC and LED components.
🔹 Total outlay: ₹6,238 crore (₹287 crore disbursed so far).
🔹 Valid till 2028–29.
Impact so far:
✅ 83 applicants approved with investments worth ₹10,406 crore.
✅ Leading names include Voltas, Blue Star, Hindalco, Daikin, Hitachi, Panasonic, and LG.
✅ Reflects growing demand and rising confidence in India’s AC & LED manufacturing ecosystem.
The PLI scheme, spanning 14 sectors with a total outlay of ₹1.97 lakh crore, has already disbursed ₹21,534 crore till June 2025 — powering India’s push toward self-reliant, competitive manufacturing.
