🌍 Reliance Industries Charts Green Energy Future – Solar & Hydrogen Push 🌞⚡

At its 48th AGM Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) unveiled a bold roadmap to build “the world’s most integrated new energy ecosystem.”

🔹 While hydrocarbons remain vital for India’s near-term needs, Chairman Mukesh Ambani outlined a dual-track approach – strengthening the O2C (oil-to-chemicals) business while aggressively expanding renewables.

🚀 Key Highlights from the Green Energy Vision:
Solar Expansion – Scaling Jamnagar gigafactory with advanced HJT modules (10% higher energy yield, 20% better temperature performance, 25% lower degradation).
Mega Capacity – Annual capacity growing from 10 GW → 20 GW, anchored by a 5,50,000-acre Kutch project (55 MW solar + 150 MWh battery output daily).
Green Hydrogen Leadership – 3 GW electrolyser giga factory by 2026, with a target to bring hydrogen cost below $1/kg and scale up to 3 million tonnes/year by 2032.

⚡ This ambitious roadmap has the potential to meet 10% of India’s electricity demand within a decade – driving India’s energy independence and green transition.
