The new facility will complement Agastya Energy’s existing solar cell and module manufacturing capabilities, creating an integrated photovoltaic manufacturing ecosystem covering:

The Bhumi Pooja (groundbreaking ceremony) marks the beginning of this next phase of growth and is expected to significantly strengthen domestic value addition, manufacturing efficiency and supply-chain integration across India’s solar industry.
Speaking on the investment, Anubhav Agarwal, Chairman, Anubhav Agarwal Group, said the ₹7,800 crore investment reflects the Group’s long-term confidence in India’s energy transition and its commitment to developing globally competitive manufacturing capabilities at scale.
